Contact UsWhat Is Microneedling?
When home skin care products are no longer proving effective, but you don't want surgery, learn more about nonsurgical skin rejuvenation treatments, such as microneedling. Nikki Brueggemann is happy to offer Rejuvapen® microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) at her office in Washington, MO. Rejuvapen microneedling uses many fine-gauge needles to effectively and safely create micro-injuries in the skin. The micro-injuries prompt the natural production of collagen and elastin, two nutrients which enhance your skin's overall health and appearance. Microneedling may help minimize scars, stretch marks, and pores. You can make an appointment for a consultation at Washington Skin Solutions to hear more about the results of microneedling and ways to personalize your procedure for your needs and goals.
Our Microneedling Technique
A Rejuvapen microneedling treatment is performed in a private treatment room for around 30 – 60 minutes with numbing cream to ease discomfort. The skin being addressed will be cleaned before the Rejuvapen microneedling handpiece is passed evenly over. After the microneedling is performed, a calming cream will be massaged into the skin.
Washington Skin Solutions Reviews
I am posting on my husbands Google account because I do not do social media but I wanted to give Nikki a review. Nikki and her staff are wonderful and professional. I have had several different treatments done by Nikki and have always been extremely happy with the results. Nikki is knowledgeable about the products that she sells and the procedures that she performs, and she takes great care to maintain a very clean and safe environment at her med spa. I will continue to go to Nikki for skin care procedures and I recommend it to anyone looking for the services she provides.
I had a consultation with Nikki today for skin care. Very clean environment. Staff professional and very caring for my health safety following Covid protocol. A few skin care suggestions. Nothing pushy at all. I left making my next apt and look forward to successful results. Vicki

About UsMicroneedling FAQs
Can I combine microneedling with other treatments?
In the Rejuvapen process of microneedling, channels are made in your skin that help other treatments penetrate the lower layers. That's why microneedling is often combined with another complementary skin treatment, such as vitamin-rich serums. During your consultation, Nikki Brueggemann can explain which treatments would enhance your microneedling and which would most benefit your skin.
How many treatments are recommended for optimal results?
Most patients receive 3 – 6 Rejuvapen treatments to see their best results. However, the number of treatments you require will depend on your skin's condition and personal aesthetic goals. Microneedling may be performed every 4 – 6 weeks. during your consultation, Nikki Brueggemann can estimate how many treatments you might want based on your skin and goals. When your skin goals are reached, Nikki Brueggemann could suggest scheduling maintenance treatments about twice a year.
Is microneedling safe for everyone?
For the most part, microneedling is appropriate for all skin types and tones. Skin injuries created by microneedling are so minor that there are usually limited or no side effects after the treatment. Microneedling can be performed on most areas of skin, including the arms, face, neck, chest, and legs. Microneedling is not recommended if you have been on Accutane within the last 2 – 3 months, or if you have an active skin infection, the herpes simplex virus, or an open wound. Additionally, you may not be able to get microneedling if you are nursing, pregnant, or undergoing radiation therapy.
